Tiffanie Mang (She/Her)

Concept Artist Traditional Artist
Tiffanie Mang is a visual development artist and color key painter whose work lives at the intersection of fine art and animation. With a background rooted in painting from life, she brings a painter's eye for light, atmosphere, and color to the screen, helping define the emotional and visual language of animated films. Tiffanie currently works at Sony Pictures Animation, and was among the painter-animators selected for Loving Vincent, the Oscar-nominated animated feature painted entirely in oils in the style of Van Gogh. Working in Gdańsk, Poland for six months alongside 125 artists from around the world, she personally animated six scenes of the film. Her observational painting practice remains central to her work. As one of the youngest members of Plein Air Painters of America, she has exhibited her gouache landscapes in the California Art Club Gold Medal Exhibition Shows and been featured in Plein Air Magazine, among others. She also runs her own courses and mentorships in gouache and digital painting, having guided more than 200 students worldwide.
