CODE OF CONDUCT / ANTI-HARASSMENT POLICY Our code of conduct boils down to one word: respect. You must respect others’ safety and personal space, as well as any rules listed related to the event. Respect extends beyond our event - you must be respectful not just in-person, but online in social media interactions. If you engage with anyone in a disrespectful or inappropriate manner or do not adhere to our Code of Conduct, we reserve the right to immediately remove you from the event. Who Follows The Code? Everyone: staff, exhibitors, fans, presenters and volunteers. We expect all LightBox Expo participants to be kind and respectful to one another by following our Code of Conduct. Any breaches of this Code will result in action, including, but not limited to: written or verbal warnings, temporary banning, permanent ban, removal without refund for tickets, or other methods as determined by LBX in its sole discretion. We have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for harassment of any kind, including but not limited to: Stalking, intimidation, offensive verbal or written comments, physical assault and/or battery, harassing or non-consensual photography or recording, sustained disruption of panels, signings, and other events, bathroom policing, inappropriate physical contact, unwelcome physical attention, or hate symbols in relation, but not limited to: Race, color, national origin, gender, gender identity, gender presentation, sexual orientation, age, body size, disability, appearance, religion, citizenship, pregnancy or vaccination status. Hate symbols of any kind are not permitted.
HEALTH & SAFETY
Please be advised that a risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any event or public space, including LightBox Expo. By attending the event, you acknowledge this inherent risk on behalf of yourself and/or any Minor attending the event for which you serve as Guardian (collectively, “You”) and, as a condition of entering the event, You acknowledge, understand and confirm each of the following in accordance with applicable health guidelines: That prior to attending the event You have not been in contact with someone with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 symptoms without completing a CDC-recommended quarantine; That You are not currently experiencing any of the following symptoms of COVID-19, as identified at CDC.gov, including, but not limited to:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
- For purposes of this acknowledgement, a “Minor” means any individual who under eighteen (18) years of age or has not reached the age of majority as defined by such individual’s jurisdiction of residence, and a “Guardian” means such Minor’s parent or legal guardian or other individual attending the Event who is over the age of eighteen (18) and acting in loco parentis for such Minor. Please do not enter the event or the event venue if You cannot confirm all of the above criteria. If at any point during Your time at the event You do not meet all of the above criteria, You may be asked to leave the venue at the sole discretion of event management.
